The therapist will use several massage techniques including stretching, holding and gentle pressing motions to improve the range of motions in the joints. Pressure applied to acupressure points around the body promotes the flow of qi, the vital life force that flows throughout the body. It is normal to feel sore a couple of days after the massage. The soreness should subside within a few days.
