First Trial @ $38 Nett for 20 mins

TCM Guasha is an ancient healing therapy based on Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) meridian energy concepts. “Gua” refers to scrape, and “Sha” means a bruise-like symptom, which refers to the bodily red marks after a Guasha session. Guasha uses a scraping tool to lightly scrape across the skin to release blocked energy, relieve chronic pain and regulate health.

How TCM Guasha Works

TCM Guasha releases blocked qi and blood by mimicking sweating. Heat is generated by the repetitive scraping motion, which dilates pores and releases waste, fluids and toxic substances from the body. This helps release muscles tightness, swelling and improve blood circulation. Guasha also effectively relieves chronic pain.

Treatment Process

Before the treatment, our physician will conduct a full body analysis and health assessment to determine the treatment area to focus on.

Once the treatment areas are identified, the physician will apply massage oils on the body and apply pressured strokes repeatedly over the treatment area until localized red marks appear.

After the treatment, you are advised to drink plenty of fluids as body heat and fluids are consumed during treatment. You should also avoid cold showers to prevent wind from entering the body as the body pores are dilated after treatment.
